Spirit of Sequoia

This painting was created at the request of a client who wanted to feel the power, scent, and texture of majestic redwoods. Years ago, I had the opportunity to stand beneath these giant trees in a California national park. Touching their bark and sensing their quiet power was an unforgettable experience. Standing next to trees that are more than two thousand years old, one fully realizes just how briefly we are a part of them.
