The Power of Time

I’m fascinated by the details of old things—rusty metal sheets, peeling walls, textures created by time. It’s precisely in their imperfections that I see beauty. The inspiration for this painting was a detail of an old, rusty staircase. Although they bear the marks of time, they still lead onward. And on the canvas? You won’t see the stairs anymore.
