This painting was commissioned as a birthday gift. The client wanted to capture her husband’s personality—his kindness, playfulness, positive energy, and zest for life. But as I was painting, I felt that the painting wasn’t just about him. It’s primarily about the harmony between two people whose connection is truly exceptional.
