Love Is a Guitar Solo

This painting is one of the most personal ones for me. It was created as a wedding gift for my daughter and her partner at their request: “Paint something that will be just ours.” Music brought them together, which is why it also became the main motif of the painting. The colors, composition, and atmosphere were designed to reflect their shared world and to fit naturally into a space where music plays a central role. When we secretly hung the painting and they called us that evening, overcome with emotion, I knew it had found its place. And what lies hidden beneath the layers of oil paint—only the two of them know that.
