Lady with the doggy

"The Lady with the Dog" is somewhat of an exaggeration. I was once sitting on an old metal roof, letting myself be carried away by its worn aesthetic. Chipped sheet metal, holes in it — and suddenly it was there. A primped-up lady with her little dog was looking down at me from the roof.
