Sestry / Sisters

Baví mě portréty, ale tak trošku jinak. Tak jako u obrazu Sestry.
Bavilo mě přemýšlet o tom, jaký je vlastně vztah mezi sestrami. Znám dost příběhů na toto téma. Dokonce i svůj vlastní. Jsou odlišné a přesto se navzájem doplňují. Oddány jedna pro druhou. A zase jsme u toho, odlišnost a zároveň jednota. Toto téma mne neustále provází mou tvorbou. A jak je to se Sestrami z obrazu? Jedna je sebevědomější, ochrańující. Ta druhá klidnější, jako by vždy následovala svou sestru.  Poznáte která je která? A není to tak i v životě i u jiných vztahů? I když jsou lidé odlišní, mohou být navzájem propojeni láskou a oddaností.

I enjoy portraits, but in a slightly different way. Like the Sisters painting.
I enjoyed thinking about what the relationship between the sisters is actually like. I know a lot of stories about that. Even my own. They're different and yet they complement each other. Devoted to each other. And here we go again, different yet united. It's a theme that runs through my art creation all the time. And what about the Sisters in the painting? One is more confident, more protective. The other is calmer, as if always following her sister.  Can you tell which is which? And isn't that true in real life in other relationships? Even when people are different, they can be connected to each other by love and devotion.
